Music Bank Rocks!
Mood:  caffeinated

I recently received The Music Bank cd collection  from my friend Luke as a birthday gift. It was an awesome gift, let me just say. A must for any Alice In Chains lover. It's got songs I've never heard before on it, like "Whatcha gonna do" and "I can't Have You Blues"'; not to mention all the great classics we know and enjoy. My new personal favorite is "Queen of The Rodeo" a ballsy countryesque rock song that kicks tons of mega-ass! It was done live in Dallas, TX and is so awesome! Love the vocals on that song! Anyhow, I enjoyu the Music Bank cd collection and am looking forward to the day when I can special order the DvD video collection.  My friend Keith Brodin has it on VHS, but I haven't seen him or the collection in YEARS. Alas, it's probably for the best.

Well, gotta go now!

Peace out!

Alice In Chains Create New Material!

According to the Baldy on Aliceinchains.com, Alice In Chains are creating new material. This will be their first compilation in many years. I have seen some videos of Alice during their tour this year on Youtube, and am very happy with the reformation of the group, as well as with William Duval's sound (he actually sounds quite a bit like Layne, I think), contrary to what I posted last summer on my Myspace blog about no one being able to replace Layne. I think he is doing a great job. As the Baldy says, it is a "hugely intimidating" role to step into, but he is doing just fine.
